We had a visit today from a member of Eco Schools Scotland. She came to look at our action plan and to see all of the hard work we have been putting in to make our school Eco friendly. Some of the boys and girls presented a PowerPoint to explain this in more detail. We are delighted to announce that the visit was a successful one and we have achieved our very first Green Flag award!
Chocolate Box Advertisement Posters
We’ve been working really hard in P4-7 trying to create chocolate boxes to sell to raise money for the school. We’ve used what we’ve learned in maths to create our packaging and have compared the prices on different websites to help us decide which ingredients to buy. We’ve also considered all of these prices when deciding on a price for our product so we can make a profit. As well as doing all of this, we’ve also created persuasive descriptions to go alongside pictures of our product and used what we’ve learned about WW1 propaganda posters to create our own posters to persuade people to buy our company’s chocolate box! Have a look below and see if you’ve been convinced to buy a delicious chocolate box!
