{"id":7307,"date":"2018-11-16T15:47:40","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T14:47:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/StAndrewsPrimarySchoolBlog\/?p=7307"},"modified":"2018-11-16T15:47:40","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T14:47:40","slug":"dumfries-museum-ww1-workshop-for-p7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/dg\/StAndrewsPrimarySchoolBlog\/2018\/11\/16\/dumfries-museum-ww1-workshop-for-p7\/","title":{"rendered":"Dumfries Museum WW1 Workshop for P7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our mini topic on WW1 commemorating the 100\u00a0years since the end of the war Primary 7 visited Dumfries Museum to meet characters from WW1\u00a0 (The Colonol and Mrs Stackpool) and to learn about being a spy.\u00a0 They took part in\u00a0different\u00a0group activities which encouraged them to look at World War 1 critically.\u00a0They also found out lots about propaganda when looking at the photographic exhibition upstairs realising what is real and what is &#8220;fake news.&#8221;\u00a0 The children were all a credit to themselves and the school and seemed to have a great afternoon.
