Stunning weather so early morning kept things cool. Over the hills via Corsock and Balmaclellan to New Galloway. 15 miles and 5 hours of walking. Finished with fruit crumble and ice cream in cafe whilst trying not to show that my feet were crying. Thought I&#8217;d walked a bit far when I saw the emu.
