Primary 5\/6 couldn’t believe their eyes today, when Mrs Kerr showed them a square of tartan plaid, that had been part of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s original kilt when he came to Scotland on his Jacobite Quest in 1745. They imagined him cowering underneath \u00a0it on the cold nights when he was hiding in Cluny’s Cage.<\/p>\n

The inscription reads: ” A piece of the plaid worn by Prince Charles Edward Stuart at the Battle of Culloden, and left by him at his James MacIntosh Hall, Chief of the Clan Chattons”.<\/p>\n
