Before the February break, P.3 were exploring symmetry and tessellation. The children were creating their own symmetrical pictures using numicon and using Top Marks website to sort symmetrical and non-symmetrical shapes. They also had to complete the shape so it was symmetrical. They also tried tessellation (or\u00a0Tiling) where we covered a surface with a pattern of flat shapes so that there were no overlaps or gaps.<\/p>\n
