Well done to the children in Primary 5, 6 and 7 for taking part in World Maths Day today.
Together they managed to answer 16, 204 mental calculations!!!!!

Hopefully we will have managed to raise a good amount of money, both for UNICEF and the Upper School Maths Resources.
Primary 7 recently attended a curling taster session at North West castle, where we were ably assisted by our fantastic coaches. Afterwards, we visited some local World War 2 sites where we learnt all about some local history. We have made a photostory to show our day. Enjoy!PhotoStory1
P5 are heading off to Edinburgh on Thursday 10th March. They are going to visit the museum and also Edinburgh Castle. Please remember to bring in your £10 by Friday 4th March!

Students play at home and at school against other students around the world in live games of mental arithmetic. Each game lasts for 60 seconds and students can play up to 100 games, earning points for their personal tally. Students can play beyond 100 games during the event, but points will only count to the World Maths Day Mathometer, not their personal point score. The students who answer the most questions correctly appear on the Hall of Fame. There are 5 different levels of play, 20 games on each level.
