School Improvement Plan

Each year schools are required to submit School Improvement Planning Returns to the Local Authority.  These consist of 2 main documents – the Standards and Quality Report (SQR) and the School Improvement Plan (SIP).

The SQR looks at the previous session’s work and reviews:

  • what progress we have made in achieving the outcomes we set in our previous SIP;
  • what our key strengths are and identifies areas for development; and
  • our capacity for improvement.

The SIP includes an outline of the school’s priorities for the next 3 years and identifies key improvement areas to be addressed in the coming session.

The full documents are available here – SIP SQR Docs 13-14
