Loreburn Primary School is situated in the town of Dumfries with a current role of 180 pupils. Our school was first established in 1864 and moved to its present premises in 1980.
Loreburn is a friendly school which ensures that all children have a pleasant and supportive learning environment. We pride ourselves on our good manners and school ethos!

P6 are learning about politics and we have formed parties and I am one the leaders for the Loreburtitions SO VOTE FOR US PLEASE.There will some people coming to classes to talk about our ideas and if you like our ideas vote for the Loreburtitions.
We are doing politics in p6 and we have formed political partys (4 in total) I am part of the cool for school political party and I just want to say: PLEASE VOTE FOR US!!! We are going to make assemblies shorter, we are going to have a homework club, balance out the days of football. so once again vote for cool for school on the 3rd of May!
On Friday the 3rd of May vote for the green team if you want an art gardening club where you can make your own bird house and feeder. Vote for us also because if your class is well behaved your class could have a non school uniform Thursday! Many thanks, The Green Team! 🙂
