The boys and girl from Leswalt P1-5 arrived at school bright and early on Tuesday to head to the Panto in Ayr. It may have been 4 days late, but it was well worth the wait!!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We arrived at the Gaiety and took our seats on the balcony overlooking the stage where we were joined by Kirkcolm and Portpatrick boys and girls. Very shortly after there was smoke and a flash of light as the show quite literally started with a BANG!\ud83d\udca5\u00a0The Fairy Godmother appeared on the screen and burst into song \u2013 it was at this point we knew we were in for a treat\u00a0\ud83d\ude42!<\/div>\n

We met the cast \u2013 including the two ugly stepsisters, who didn\u2019t fail to make the kids (and adults) burst into laughter and sassy Cinderella who certainly could hold her own!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
During the break the boys and girls were treated to a delicious ice cream as well as some fabulous music \u2013 big thank you to Mrs B for organising this.\ud83c\udf66<\/div>\n

The show continued and so did the laughs \u2013 Bubbles got the crowd going with plenty of crowd interaction \u201coh no he didn\u2019t!\u201d \u201coh yes he did!\u201d; \u201che\u2019s behind you\u201d as well as singing and dancing opportunities.<\/div>\n

The panto finished as Cinderella got her prince and off we went to get our Burger King!\u00a0\ud83c\udf54\ud83c\udf5f The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed this little treat before heading back to the bus to come home \u2013 some even managed a wee snooze on the way!<\/div>\n

Just like Cinderella, we are very thankful to have got our happily ever ending after the disappointment of the Panto being cancelled on Friday! \ud83d\udc97<\/div>\n

A huge thank you to the Parent Council who paid for the Panto tickets and transport costs \u2013 we are so thankful for this fabulous experience; and a big thank you to the school for the yummy ice cream and Burger King.<\/div>\n
