End of March lockdown begun,<\/p>\n
That meant schools were closed, so no more fun.<\/p>\n
Nobody knows how long it will last,<\/p>\n
But I hope and pray it goes fast.<\/p>\n

First few mornings were spent with Joe Wicks,<\/p>\n
Working out and learning new tricks.<\/p>\n
Four days in, and I am super sore.<\/p>\n
I think I would rather stay in bed and snore.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In the mornings I walk the dog, ready to start my morning slog.<\/p>\n
Doing school work is not the same, without all the fun and games.<\/p>\n
I miss my friends and I miss my class<\/p>\n
How much longer is this going to last?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Outside painting and moving gravel,<\/p>\n
Suns out, pools up, time for a paddle!<\/p>\n
Easter comes with painted eggs,<\/p>\n
Family quizzes to see who is best.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Making soups and baking scones, learning tiktoks to<\/p>\n
different songs.<\/p>\n
Family time and movie nights,<\/p>\n
What to watch causes fights!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Thursday nights we stand out and clap,<\/p>\n
Say hello to our neighbours and then that\u2019s that.<\/p>\n
Doing jigsaws and hopscotch with mum,<\/p>\n
Waiting on our online shopping to come.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Across the road a lady from afar,<\/p>\n
Looks after her sheep and lives in her car.<\/p>\n
We fill her flasks every day,<\/p>\n
To keep the baby lambs hunger at bay.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I really miss my teachers at school,<\/p>\n
Hoping this time at home doesn\u2019t make me a fool.<\/p>\n
My parents at home are trying to teach,<\/p>\n
Making goals that I can reach.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On my phone 24\/7,<\/p>\n
Chatting to my friends feels like heaven.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s put an end to this awful covid-19,<\/p>\n
Allowing me to meet up with family and friends I have not seen.<\/p>\n
Hopefully, this virus will eventually clear –<\/p>\n
making 2021 a better year!<\/p>\n
