“To develop transition links within the local community, Primary 1-4 at Leswalt and their teacher Mrs Mc Knight invited Leswalt Little Acorn toddler group into the school for a fun structured play session.
The pupils of p1-4 organised some fun games and activities for the younger children. It proved to be a fun and enjoyable session, which was very well attended.

The boys and girls of Leswalt Primary have been taking their maths learning outside. Â Have a look at the photographs to see how they were able to learn about time and right angles in the environment.
The senior pupils also enjoyed a visit from Zoolab, where the focus was on Nocturnal animals and how animals have adapted to suit their environment.
Today Primary 1-4 had visitors from Zoolab and they spoke to the younger pupils about how the animals had adapted their senses to the environment. Â This linked in with the topic of “My Senses”. Â The boys and girls enjoyed handling some of the animals in class.
