On the 3rd of May\u00a0team Holywood\u00a0travelled to Kagyu Samye Tibetan centre for our regions topic. We had a tour of the whole place. The temple was massive. I learned that the\u00a0statue of Buddha is hollow and has relics from different teachers because\u00a0Buddhists don’t have a god but they have teachers.\u00a0It took one hour to get to\u00a0Kagyu Samye in Eskdalemuir and there was a little shop that was super expensive. We got told that the Buddha statue wasn’t pure gold but a\u00a0kind of coting\u00a0of gold, but its actually\u00a0made\u00a0from cooper. It was very interesting and I loved every bit of it to the temple to the stupa.<\/p>\n
