On Wednesday we went to Rock UK or a residential. When we were there did activities including kayaking and canoeing.<\/p>\n

Canoeing<\/p>\n

First we put on a helmet and a live vest for safety. After we had done that we got in to partners and fond a canoe to sit in. Once we got in to our canoes they pushed us in to the water. AND WE LANCHED IN TO THE WATER! We had a little paddle around for a while and wend around an island. Alothgh some mud feel out a tree and landed on my head! After we got round the island we played a game in the canoes called fruit salad. In fruit salad you get given a fruit. If the instructor calls your fruit you stand up and shout whatever fruit you are. And they might say your fruit squash that means you have to stand up and shout what you are and then do a big jump! Since we had extra time, we played a game called consequences canoe. To play this we all held on each other\u2019s canoes. The instructors ask everyone the same question like do you have a cat? If they do they go into the consequences canoe. If you are in the consequences canoe and the next question does not apply to people in the canoe they have to leave.<\/p>\n

Once we got to the shed, we put a live vest and a helmet. After we put them on we got into a line from shortest to tallest to see what size of kayak you need. I got a small green one. After that we sat in them there was two little black footrest that we had to adjust to fit us. Once we had done that we slowly shuffled towards the water off the dock. SPLASH the front of my kayak went right into the water and popped back up! In the water we played bulldog. In bulldog the person who is IT needs to tap the back of the other peoples kayak to IT them.
