I have also done some angle estimates, some more perimeter questions and had a refresher on fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.

I asked Mum if she could give me some work on marine biology as I want to be a marine biologist. So she asked me to research a man called Jacques Cousteau. I read through some articles online, found him in one of my encyclopedias and watched a few videos about him. This is the information I found out about him.

He lived 11th June 1910 – 25 June 1997.

He wrote books to help him get money to fund his marine research.

He was captain of the boat Calypso.

His middle name was Yves.

Unlike Naval tradition, he was buried on land where he lived.

He made a film called The Silent World.

He worked for the French Navy in World War Two.

He invented scuba diving.

At summer camp, he cleaned the lake.

After a car crash, he swam in the Mediterranean to strengthen his arms.

When he crashed, his dreams of becoming a pilot was crushed.

He lived for 87 years.

He made a s how called Shipwreck.

An Irish millionaire bought the Calypso for Jacques.

One of his quotes was, ‘Farming to us is hunting.
