I had a lesson about the melting point of solids to liquid, and reversible change.<\/p>\n<p>Melting is when a solid is exposed to heat for a period of time and melts to form a liquid. The temperature required to cause the melt depends upon the solid material.<\/p>\n<p>Butter melts at 38 degrees centigrade.<\/p>\n<p>Ice melts at 0 degrees centigrade.<\/p>\n<p>Wax melts at 75 degrees centigrade.<\/p>\n<p>When an object melts, it is the same amount of matter and can return to its original state.<\/p>\n<p>Mum melted some butter when she baked some oat royales so I watched to see the whole melting down process.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I wrote a piece about all the nature I saw on our nature walk and also sketched some of the things.
