Yesterday I set pupils the challenge of writing their blog posts in the form of a Japanese style of poetry called a Haiku. These little poems only have three lines. The first line must have 5 syllables. The second line needs 7 syllables and the third line is 5 syllables again.<\/p>\n
With these limited syllables you have to choose your words carefully.<\/p>\n
Pupils were challenged to write about their learning or an activity they enjoy.<\/p>\n
