11.10.17

Congratulations to Rebecca and Jessica Donaldson who swam well at the weekend in the local gala. Also being healthy this weekend was Abbi Irving who took part in the Hard Rock Challenge in Dalbeattie which involved running and cycling.  We are so proud of our pupils who keep active at the weekends as well as during the week!

29.9.17

Well done to Lewis P from P5/4 who attended the East Disability Regional Schools Swimming trials in Annan yesterday. 26 pupils took part and Lewis won a 2nd place for front crawl and a 4th place for back crawl at this gala.

Also good luck to Danny in P6/5 who heads off for his big tennis tournament this weekend.

15th September

Derryn in P4/3 has been dancing her way to these wonderful trophies!

Danny in P6/5 has been selected to play tennis in Gleneagles soon. If he wins at this competition he has a chance to win the opportunity to play against Andy Murray and Roger Federer. Even if he doesn’t get to play with the superstars he will be going to watch the event!

Courtney (P6/5) is the Cumbrian Under 11’s girls’ athletics champion. She excelled in the 70 m sprint, long jump and cricket ball throw. Well done!

Choir will soon be up and running again for pupils in Primary 4-7. It has taken 5 months but I now  have some of  the recordings from last years festival performances. Have a listen to our Choirs performances last year – would you like to take part this year?
