This is a simple, fun game to enjoy with your child at home and will develop his\/her memory skills, concentration and ability to take turns.<\/p>\n<p>Encourage your child to choose a small selection of items (4 &#8211; 6 initially) from around the house and sit them on a tray or a table.<\/p>\n<p>Cover the objects with a towel then see how many items that your child can name.<\/p>\n<p>Once they are confident to do this, ask your child to close their eyes, take one item away from under the towel and see if he\/she can say what is missing.<\/p>\n<p>Take turns as a family to take an object away.<\/p>\n<p>If your child needs a further challenge, you could take two objects away or add to the number of items on the tray.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that you have lots of fun playing together.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do any of you remember playing Kim&#8217;s Game when you were younger?
