To help the children think about their senses of sight, touch, sound, smell and taste, they could perhaps go on a senses hunt around the house as well as the garden if you have one?<\/p>\n<p>Ask the children to help you write a list of what they are looking for before they set off and then see what they can find. Suggestions might be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something red<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something that makes a noise<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something rough\/smooth<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something that has a smell<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something you can eat<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something long<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">something soft<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The children will no doubt come up with much more interesting and creative \u00a0suggestions and it would be great to use their ideas, provided they are achievable of course.
