These were some of their comments when looking at\u00a0our photos of the fire engine.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Parker:<\/span> I was blowing the fire out with a hose. The fire engine is red. It\u2019s big.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Freddie:<\/span> the hose gets the fire away. They flush it away.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Alex W.:<\/span> I went in the fire engine. I wore a helmet and used a hose. Water came out then Zack wanted a go.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Lewis:<\/span> I had a turn of squirting the hose. I sitted on the fire truck.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Emilia H.:<\/span> I was sitting in the back.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Euan:<\/span> I went inside the fire engine. Water came out the hose to put the fire out.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Jessica:<\/span> it\u2019s hot fire.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Danielle:<\/span> I\u2019m watering the fire.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Emily M.:<\/span> I went in the fire engine and sprayed the hose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The children also talked about the road safety learning on our visit.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Letti:<\/span> we learned to look about where the cars are and to walk on the pavement.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Nancy:<\/span> I was a lollipop lady. I helped people to cross the road so Filip could ride his bike to school.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Arthur:<\/span> the lollipop lady stops the cars to cross the road.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Tom:<\/span> we were playing cars and bikes and buses. I played a lollipop man. Stopped the cars. Freddie was there. Stop, keep your eyes open, keep your ears open, think with your brains.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Jake:<\/span> be safe. Look with the eyes. If cars coming stop, listen, cross at the man.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Tiana-Rose:<\/span> I walk with Mum. Hold hands on the pavement. Wait before you cross. Cross at lollipop man.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Lewis:<\/span> Stop! Cross at the lollipop man, look both ways and think.
