We read a story called \u201cThe Elephant and the Bad Baby\u201d to stimulate our discussions. Here are some of the children\u2019s thoughts.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Brooke:<\/span> when your Mum gets your tea.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Olivia B.:<\/span> you say \u201cthank you\u201d when someone gives you sweets.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Holly-Mae:<\/span> I say \u201cthank you\u201d to the ladies in Nursery when I get snack.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Evan G.:<\/span> I say \u201cplease\u201d when I get sweets.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Frankie:<\/span> when someone gives me something I say \u201cthank you\u201d.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Enid:<\/span> you say \u201cthank you\u201d when people come to your house.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Kobe:<\/span> when people give you something.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Jasmin:<\/span> when I got sweeties for Hallowe\u2019en from Mum and Dad I said \u201cthank you\u201d.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Cali:<\/span> I would say \u201cplease\u201d for juice.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> James:<\/span> I say \u201cthank you\u201d when I get special treats.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> Annalise:<\/span> I say \u201cthank you\u201d when Mummy gives me something special.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are delighted that our children are learning good manners and hope that they keep this up as they get older.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of our Health and Wellbeing learning we have been talking about when to say \u201cplease\u201d and \u201cthank you\u201d.
