Mrs Martin’s infant class have been learning all about ‘Night and Day’.  They have been finding out about nocturnal animals and have read 2 books all about owls. These are Owl Babies and The Owl who is Afraid of the Dark. We thought it would be fun to see some of these feathered creatures come to school and say hello! Mrs Martin contacted Gary from the Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre and he came to school along with several of his feathered friends to show us. The children were fascinated by these beautiful birds and each got a turn to hold one. Below are some pictures to share with you.
