New Build news
In addition to all the consultation work carried out (with all pupils, staff and parents,) school staff have also taken part in several surveys to reach a shared vision for our new learning campus. This has informed what has been fed into meetings with the design team….. and here we are now!
Our vision of the future!
Mersehead with P1
Primary 1 visit Mersehead and had a lot of fun!
Planters Arrive!
Salmon in the classroom
The Eco councillors welcomed the new salmon eggs and settled them happily in their tank, checking that the temperature was at the right level for them. What will happen next? When the eggs hatch they will be released into the River Dee; latest news they are doing well! We are grateful to Galloway Fisheries for making this project available to us.
Time Capsule
Mrs Howie and the School councillors took our time capsule to be buried on the site of the Primary Care Centre for Dalbeattie Clinic, it was a very proud moment, notice we are all wearing our safety
helmets. Some of the things we put in were photos of up to date ICT equipment, class in a box, camera and photos of ourselves.
It was Tom and Ben who had the honour of burying it.
I wonder who will find it and when?
