P3/4 have had a fantastic week. We have learned how to work as part of team with Justin from Active Schools and have worked very hard on our listening skills.
We have created incredible imaginative stories and have worked to develop our use of adjectives to describe characters and settings.

Unfortunately we are unable to upload pictures at the moment to our Blog… Technology doesn’t seem to be working!! But last week we learned all about the Holy Trinity in RE, developed our understanding of 2D and 3D shapes and continued to work on our reading and reading comprehension.
We are thoroughly enjoying our IDL work, looking at dinosaurs and their time on Earth!
This week we have started learning about the important characteristics or certain dinosaurs. We have also been continuing to develop our knowledge of place value and remembering our number bonds.
In literacy we have worked hard on our reading sounds to help with our fluency in reading.
We have also been focussing on our active listening skills which we will continue to build on for the remainder of the term.

This week in P3/4 we have been very busy with Mrs Robb and Mr Albayati…
In numeracy, we have been focussing on our place value and ordering numbers from smallest to largest and vice versa. It has been important for us to remember and build on our previous place value knowledge.
In literacy, we have been engulfed in learning our speed sounds to help us read more fluently. One group in class have also started to read the Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark. We have been practicing our DUMTUMS to help us set out work corrctly in our jotters too!
We have started our IDL this term, Dinosaurs! This has been very exciting and we have told Mrs Robbs what we already know about Dinosaurs and what we want to learn more of.
In digital technologies we can now all manage to log in without any help from our teachers… Success!
We can’t wait to update you with some more of our learning and some pictures next week.
