Primary 7 – Board Number and Numeracy 25/3/20

Wednesday 25th March – Numeracy Tasks for today

Good Morning Primary 7! I hope you are all well 🙂  Here is today’s Board Number, please complete in the new maths jotter that is in your home learning pack.  Remember you do not have to do the extra, this is simply an extra challenge.

Once you have finished, please use a calculator to correct or ask someone at home to correct your work.  Remember, you can also use the inverse operation to correct your work too. For example 28472 x 6, once you have the answer, to use the inverse operation to correct, simply carry out a division calculation using your answer divided by 6 (the answer to this division calculation should be 28472).

Primary 7 – Useful Links for Home Learning

Good Afternoon everyone,  I hope you have all had a great day.  It might feel a little strange working from home and I hope you are finding your timetable useful – I think it is important to maintain a little bit of structure whilst we aren’t in school. Thank you to everyone that has emailed me so far with queries, your dedication is amazing!

I thought it would be helpful to put together some more useful links to websites that may be of use to you all whilst the schools are closed.  You can use these links to do lots of activities and where it refers to Home Learning Challenge on the timetable you can use these websites for that, if you wish.  These websites are in addition to those that are on the Home Learning Grid – I couldn’t fit them all on! If you find out anymore that you think would be of use, please email me with any suggestions and I will post on the blog!

Missing you all! Stay safe and take care, Mrs P!

Primary 7 – ICT 24/3/20

Good Afternoon P7!

For ICT this afternoon/this week I would like you to add to your blogs (the list of required posts is on the back of the Home Learning Grid) If you are up-to-date with this please add a post ‘Home Learning’ and share what you have been doing so far. Remember you can take pictures of what you have been doing and add these to the posts.

You can also use this time to catch up with Newsround, Sumdog, First News or continue to work on numeracy and literacy tasks, I will leave it up to you to decide. These posts can be completed over the course of this week, do not feel rush into doing them all in one day, take your time and where possible, get out for some fresh air in your garden.

I thought this might brighten everyone’s day – some links to live animal webcams, they are very cute!
