Primary 7 are learning about the Global Goals and the ways in which these goals can affect our lives. They worked in groups to create their own vision of what a Global Goals country would look like if all of the goals are achieved by 2030. Great work Primary 7,  some fantastic ideas!

During buddy time Primary 7 spent some time at the Pod with their P1 buddies, they played some number games with the Numicon and then we all walked to Menzieshill Library together.

Primary 7 have been learning about the Global Goals and worked in groups to create their own vision of what a country would look like if all of the goals are achieved by 2030.   Once they are all finished we will piece them together to create our own Global Goals country.

Primary 7 are enjoying their French lessons with Miss Douglas and this week revised numbers and then played French bingo.

This week Primary 7 have been revising times tables using different card games, Times Tables War is proving to be a favourite! We have also been working on multiplying two digit by two digit numbers and taking part in number talks where we share the different strategies we can use to solve these multiplication calculations.

If anyone has cards at home you can play Times Tables War with someone!

During Outdoor Learning last week, Primary 7 joined with Primary 1 and together they used Play in a Pod.  There was lots of creativity and imagination on display!

Primary 7 spent some time with their buddies in the school library. They read a book together and had a chat about their favourite stories to listen to.

Primary 7 have been fantastic buddies to the new Primary 1’s.  They have been helping them to settle in and playing with them outside.
