We were very fortunate that Mrs Jones allowed us to see an actual newspaper from 1943 and a child’s gas mask from 1941.

This term we have been taking park in the Playmaker scheme learning how to organise and run our own playground games for younger classes. Today we planned the sessions and will refine them in the coming weeks before we will run them for the Primary 1s.

Today in literacy we used laptops to help us with our literacy work.

During Fit Thursday we had the opportunity to try out judo, football, tennis, botcha, cricket and boxercise.

Today we took part in the Fun in Athletics competition in Menzieshill Community Centre. Everyone gave it their all and we finished a very credible 3rd!

Today Lennon brought in his players player of the year trophy he won at his teams awards night.

Today we learned about Scots words for describing weather and created poems to describe a typical Scottish day!
