We had the opportunity to share the learning we have been doing through the Bookbug scheme today with our buddies parents and carers.

Even the rain didn’t stop us doing our Daily 15 today!

Today we helped our P1 buddies with literacy and art work based around their book “The Gorilla Loves Vanilla” thankfully Mrs Paton was in charge of the art activities! 

On Thursday we learned all about the dangers of smoking both to our bodies and to the environment. We found out about the disgusting chemicals in cigarettes and how companies target children. 

Last Friday we visited Menzieshill library with our P1 buddies. It was their first visit and we were delighted to help them find a book to take home.

Today during buddy time we worked with our P1 buddies to help them set their social target for this term as well as play “Mr McCormack says” during our Daily 15! Well done to Mrs Paton who joined in!

Today as part of Dundee’s Daily 15 we ran, did star jumps, burpees and walked to get our heart rate up. We understand the importance of living a healthy and active life.

We had lots of fun at our Autumn parties. We all looked amazing in our costumes.

Today in PE we were developing our rugby skills practising our line out throwing.

Last week during buddy time we went outside to gather leaves to create our own version of  Leaf Man. We had great fun searching for different colours and sizes and even got the chance to cover each other in leaves!8A4D2533-4AB1-4735-BB85-AB076F916AA4
