We are very excited about learning a new language this term, and are very happy to have all of these helpful phrases up on the wall for us to choose from! We will try hard to use Spanish as often as we can, to get used to how it sounds. Small things like saying the date in Spanish, go a long way in helping our brains adjust to a new language 😊. 

This week we have looked in to the addition and subtraction of decimals, venturing outside to utilise concrete materials readily available, as well as to enjoy the sun! 🌞 Here we have a group with their sum of 0.2+0.8=1 😊

We’re back for the final term – and we’re determined to make it our best one yet! We started off our numeracy this term, through an introduction to decimals. We spoke about why we use decimals, and  how we can change fractions into decimals. We loved using the Numicon to help us visualise our learning  😍
