Today we took our sketch books out into the playground and we focused on one still life feature to sketch. We looked at it from different angles experimenting with light and dark shading.

Picture Book Award Display
Today we had the opportunity to go to Menzieshill Library to display all the fantastic work we have been doing with the Primary 1s as part of the Picture Book Award. Make sure you pop along to check it out!
The Big Day Has Finally Arrived.
After working hard on literacy and craft tasks based around the four books in the Picture Book Award Competition today was the day we finally got to vote for our favourite. We will have live updates from the count centre in the coming hours!
V&A Transition Project
We have also been working with the boys and girls from the nursery in the afternoon to design what we think clothes will look like in 2068.
Designing cars of the future!
Today as part of the V&A Transition Project we worked with the A.M nursery boys and girls to design what cars might look like in 2068. We designed the cars on paper first then we used Textease to bring our designs to life.
Picture Book Award
We were lucky enough to spend the whole afternoon working with Primary 1 and as well as developing our numeracy skills we also continued working together on the Picture Book Award.
Developing numeracy skills in ICT
Today in ICT we worked with Primary 1 developing our numeracy skills.
Music with Mr Smith
Today Mr Smith taught us all about different notes and beats. We worked together to create our own rhythms.
Scooting
Today we had the opportunity to try out the new scooters and paths that are going to be used during playtimes.
Active data handling
On Friday we developed our data handling skills sorted, tallying and presenting cubes in a bar graph.
