A War Story is a story set during wartime, usually the First or Second
World War.

Key Features: Soldiers fighting battles, families at home during wartime, evacuee children, refugees fleeing their country.

Key Words: refugee, battle, evacuation, freedom, air raid, soldiers, allies, armies, military, dangerous, no man’s land, trenches, military base, fields and cities.
