1.The cubs left at 8 o’clock – that’s the time on the clock face where it says leave in green.
First rest was at 9 o’clock. So they walked for 1 hour.
2. first rest – second rest – 9.30 – 11.30 so 2 hours. You then need to do second rest to third, then third rest to fourth and fourth rest to fifth
3a camp to top – when did they leave the camp? When did they arrive at the top? calculate the difference between these 2 times.
b whole trek and back to camp – when did they leave in the morning? When did they arrive back at night? Calculate how many hours had gone by.
