Morning Primary 4! Hope you are well on this rainy day. Hope you are all staying home and helping around the house! Here are your Friday jobs! Miss you all!

Numeracy – do a daily 10 in a times table you have been practising. Repeat it and see if you can beat your score!

Literacy – ask someone to give you a spelling check! 10 words from your Get Spelling. irregular spellings or red word lists. Any you get wrong, write out 3 more times!

Science – join Glasgow Science Centre on YouTube live at 10am to learn all about Mars. You can also catch up with this if you miss it.

Health – Join First Stop Safety Training on Facebook Live at 11am for a half hour CPR session. You’ll need your teddy!

PE – Scottish Ballet will be streaming live on Facebook at 11.30 am today with a Family Barre class. You can also catch up on this! We will be giving it a go in the Oglesby house!

The Western Approaches secret bunker will be broadcasting a live lesson at 1pm today all about WWII. There will also be a tour of the bunker. Suitable for primary level and hosted by a teacher.

Can you improve this really dull sentence? Remember I don’t need a story – just up-level using an opener, a connective, more interesting words and don’t forget the punctuation!

You could post your sentence to the blog or just share it with someone at home. Why not add a picture including all the detail you add?

Today I want you to challenge yourself to improve your speed and accuracy in your tables. If you have playing cards, you can play our card game with someone at home. You place a card down, your opponent does too and the person to multiply the two together accurately wins the cards. Play our multiplication , rock, paper, scissors game. Get on Topmarks and do a Daily 10 then repeat it and see if you improve. Time yourself writing out a table from memory and then try to beat your time. You’ll be times tables stars before long!
