Primary 4 pupils have created their own “respect” role play scripts and acted these out in front of their peers.
Pupils worked in small groups to discuss plans for their role play using the 5 Ws and 1 H, Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?

What has happened/is happening?
Where is the role play taking place?
When is this happening? During/after school?
Why are people acting this way? Tiredness/Sadness/
How is the issue solved? A friend intervenes/someone tells a teacher/other adult…
P4 acted very sensibly throughout these role play scenes and they initiated lots of quality discussions about respect, empathy, kindness towards others.
