Good Morning Primary 3!
It’s Monday again, I hope you had a great weekend. Today on your timetable we have Numeracy, Literacy, Daily 15, Reading, Newsround and another Home Learning Challenge!
Board Sums
Circles
This might be a little bit tricky as we only began looking at the 2 times table before the schools closed. However, the trick with the 2x table is that we double each number. For example 2×3=6 … double 3 is 6. ☺️
Give this task below a go! It uses Numicon to show you the multiplication sum too which will be really helpful for us. Good luck.
Triangles and Squares
It’s been a few weeks since we looked at multiplication and division. Today let’s try to use arrays to work out the missing number for each sum. I have tried to explain this through my little drawing below. This should only be a reminder, as we covered this in class 😁 The first one was quite straight forward so I have used question 2 as our example.
As an extra challenge have a go at writing the multiplication and the division sum for each!
Feel free time ask questions on the p3 blog and I can explain it again there!
Sumdog Challenge
I have set up a new Sumdog challenge for us which began today at 6am and ends Friday at 10pm!
You can find your log in for this inside the front cover of your blue home learning jotter. I will keep track of how we are doing and let you know through the week!

Remember if you have any questions you can ask them on the Primary 3 blog. I will keep checking this throughout the day!
Good Luck 🤓
