We had a lovely afternoon learning about the rainforest before our time at the pod. We talked about animal habitats (where animals live) in the rainforest and had a think bout what animals might look for in a good place to live. For example, heat and shelter. Things became a bit more challenging when we discussed changes in the rainforest which might affect animal habitats. To demonstrate this children were asked to trade one thing each from their teams shelter to gain a something new, completely changing their shelters.
