We have been telling the class all about the instruments we made. We spoke about which materials we chose, how sound was made by vibrations and how we could change the pitch of the sound.

Primary 3 – Instrument making

Next week we are going to share our learning with the class.
Primary 3 – Celebrate success!
Well done on winning these medals outwith school at kick-boxing!
Primary 3 – Measuring fun!
We have been busy the last few weeks measuring the length, weight and volume of various items, using a variety of tools. We enjoyed measuring indoors.
It was even more fun outside!
Experimenting with the pitch of sound
We learned about the pitch of a sound and how we could change the pitch.
Well done!
We like to celebrate achievements outside school.
Medals have been gained at Girl’s Brigade and trophies at Irish dancing.
Congratulations girls!
Thank you Miss Clarke
We have enjoyed the time Miss Clarke spent with P3 and waved her goodbye as she goes to work with other boys and girls.
Good vibrations- kazoos
Following on from yesterday’ s experiments with vibrations, we made our own kazoos, felt the vibrations at the end, by touching the paper and had SO MUCH FUNÂ making new sounds!
