Handwriting is fun!

One of our targets this year is to learn to join our letters, but first we need to check our letters are formed correctly. This term we will  be checking our letter formation, using the RWInc letter formation stories. We like to be as active as possible making large letters , before practising letter formation on whiteboards or in jotters. Here we used scarves as ” paintbrushes”.

ICT and maths

What stars we are! In our ICT lessons, we have been practising logging on, finding learning games, playing them , then saving them as favourites so we can play them again.

We know that recalling the stories of 10 is so important when adding tens and units, so this game helps us practise the stories of 10.

Try www.topmarks.co.uk , then select addition and subtraction for 5-7 year olds, then maths lines.
