This term we have been learning some country dances. It’s such a fun way to keep fit and we learn how to work with a partner.
The yellow RWInc group have been reading ” A model bird”. Today we followed the instructions to make our own model.
We chose names for our birds: Bill, Billy, Flappy, Chirp and Fluffy were some of the names chosen. Can you guess why?

Learning about how honey is made. we became bees and enjoyed learning about making honey as we buzzed around the classroom.
One of our targets this year is to learn to join our letters, but first we need to check our letters are formed correctly. This term we will be checking our letter formation, using the RWInc letter formation stories. We like to be as active as possible making large letters , before practising letter formation on whiteboards or in jotters. Here we used scarves as ” paintbrushes”.
What stars we are! In our ICT lessons, we have been practising logging on, finding learning games, playing them , then saving them as favourites so we can play them again.
We know that recalling the stories of 10 is so important when adding tens and units, so this game helps us practise the stories of 10.
