From farm to fork

We  had great fun making our salad.

We chatted about which vegetables had grown above ground, and which grew below ground. We discussed the difference between a regular onion and a spring onion, we loved making the pea pod go pop!

The best part though was the tasting…… lots of us discovered new foods to enjoy, cress, radishes or spring onions.

  1. It was an interesting experience as many of us discovered foods that we thought we wouldn’t enjoy, but liked; and a few of us found a new taste that wasn’t quite for us, but that’s ok too.
