Primary 2 – Magnets
Today we investigated how magnets work.
They stuck to most metal objects including a birthday badge and a bucket.
We had fun moving a metal paper clip through paper. Then we experimented to see if we could move lots of paper clips and whether the magnet would work through paper which had been folded and was therefore thicker.
We enjoyed being scientists!
Primary 2 – More success
A football celebration. Well done!
Primary 2 – 2 times tables
Today the triangles group practised their 2 times tables using Numicon.
Primary 2 – Bridge building
Working with a partner we tried to make a bridge to cross “ a river”.
We used our learning about materials to select strong materials and thought about how to join them together.
