Louie won this amazing trophy at his Boys Brigade for showing Endeavour…we learned that this means he tries and tries even if things are a bit tricky. He never gives up until he can!!! Fantastic Louie…we are all very proud of you!

Eggstravaganza!!!!
Before our 2 Weeks holiday we had fun taking part in a fun Easter themed homework project along with P2 and P3. We invited all of the other classes to see our wonderful and imaginative Easter baskets and hats. Everyone was very impressed with our hardwork. Here are some photos of the day….
A big thank you to all of the grown-ups who helped us to complete our project 👍🏼
Mother’s Day Crafts
We read some stories about Mums and about loving others. We shared all of the fantastic things about our own mums with our friends and created some lovely gifts to give on Mother’s Day. We created heart shaped sun catchers using collage, bookmarks using our fingerprints and did some drawing and writing all about our Mums. Here are some examples of our beautiful artwork.
Parents Night
Thanks to all who came to Parents Night so far. It was great to see everyone and to share your child’s learning journey, their progress and next steps. Once again, thanks for all of your support! I can’t believe that’s 3 out of 4 terms of p1 almost complete! Looking forward to seeing everyone else tomorrow too!
Adventures of Dennis And Gnasher
We have created a comic book display showing all of Dennis and Gnashers adventures so far. Later, we will be working hard to write our very own captions to explain what is happening in these photos to others.
Miss Grant
Miss Grant is with us in Primary 1 at the moment and will be here at St Ninian’s until the beginning of March.
Our new classmates
Coming home with every child soon😛
Mrs Mac says because we are the best p1 in the city we can help teach Dennis and Gnasher how to be good friends and get to know them better.
Bookbug Picture Book Prize Ceremony
We rounded off our Bookbug work with a great celebration! Our parents and our buddies read with us and chatted about our Bookbug books. We all then voted for our favourite. Our winner of the Bookbug Picture Book Prize was The Shark in the Park on a Windy Day by Nick Sharratt!!!! It had more than double the votes of the other stories…..a clear winner!!! A huge thank you to P7 and to all of the parents and family members who took the time to come along.
