Outdoor learning.

In our outdoor space we provide the children with a variety of materials to enable creative and imaginative play, role play, opportunities to extend language and co-operation and encourage problem solving and teamwork. Today we had a shop, a treehouse and a Spider-man cave.

“Play is essential to the health and wellbeing of children and promotes the development of creativity, imagination, self-confidence, self-efficacy as well as physical, social, cognitive and emotional strength and skills”. (Committee on the Rights of the Child, 2013).
