We had so much fun at our Xmas party. There was dancing, singing, party games and food. We even had a special visit from Santa!!!!! It is now beginning to look a lot like Xmas 🙂

We put on a fabulous nativity show for our family and friends. The children had so much fun singing and getting dressed up. Thank you so much for all your help and support over this year. We wish you all a magical festive season and look forward to seeing you all in the new year. Merry Christmas.
After collecting our sticks we had great fun making our own stick men. We worked together with our family and our friends to create our stick men. We used various materials e.g. ribbons and playdough. I think you’d agree there are some fabulous looking stick men.
In the 2 year old room we have been reading the book Stick Man by Julia Donaldson. We wanted to see if we could find our own “Stick Man” and so donned our all in one weather proof suits, and explored the grounds of the school. We were astounded by how many sticks we found that looked like Stick Man, his lady love and his three stick children. Lots of fun was also had when we discovered some nice muddy puddles. It was magic how our wellies could disappear in the puddle and how our newly found sticks could be used to mix the mud in the puddle. Below are some videos from our Stick Man hunt. Enjoy.
The children have been learning some Scottish country dancing sequences. They were fantastic at following instructions and managed to avoid bumping into each other. 🤗. We also discovered different facts about St Andrew who is the patron saint of Scotland🇫🇮
Our 2 year olds had an wonderful trip into town to see the Christmas tree in the city square, and enjoy a cake and drink in a cafe. The children were excited to be going on a bus with their friends, and to see all the twinkling lights. 🎄🎄(more photos to follow)
The rain did not keep our 2 year olds onside. Rainsuits on and ready to explore. Water and mud in abundance added to the fun. Pouring, mixing, splashing and rainy day football. ☔️
