This term we have been looking at colour in a bit more depth. Today we mixed some primary colours

and here are the results.

Maci mixed red and yellow to make orange! Well done Maci! 😀

Leon mixed yellow and blue and made green! Good job Leon! 😀

Today some of our morning pre-school children joined their friends in Primary 6. They were helping to design an object for the future, that may be placed in a time capsule. This will be opened in 50 years time. Today they were designing cars. How amazing.

The afternoon children will have the opportunity to participate in the coming weeks.

Today we were using the interactive whiteboard to learn about numbers, counting and farm animals. We also worked on our hand/eye co-ordination when using the whiteboard. We had great fun!

We have been meeting our new friends and helping them settle into nursery the last week. We are concentrating on building positive relationships with them and showing them the daily routine. They have loved their first week.

Basil found a “huge worm”. “Just like Superworm”, and Jayden saved a beetle from drowning in our wok. Well done.

Today in nursery we have been tree and pavement rubbing, using crayons. We discovered that we can create different patterns on the paper. Taking our learning outdoors.😀

We love our new racing track. We are learning about position and direction, and taking turns and sharing space with our friends. It’s fantastic.

Today we started a new session of Play on Pedals. Ruby, Lui and Wyatt started the programme and we’re learning about the different parts of the bike and safety rules. They also began to learn how to ride the balance bike using “frog feet”. They were excellent at using their brakes to stop the bike.
