Today we had some football outside and then we went onto dancing. It was great fun, we love keeping active and healthy!
The morning children worked together to create “a big house”. They gathered every toy, crate, bike etc they could find and then added them to the “house” in the middle of the garden. It was amazing and such good teamwork it just had to be shared.

Here is our first solo bike rider using the Play on Pedals scheme! Well done Grace Brown managing to ride the bike all by yourself at end! Super proud!😃
This week we have been looking at shapes. We have participated in lots of activities relating to shapes. We can identify and match simple shapes. Our shape of the week was a rectangle and we were all being detectives looking for objects that are rectangle in our nursery.

As you may already know, we have been carrying out sessions and following a programme called “Play on Pedals”, which is using balance bikes with children and going through a programme step by step in order for them to gain the confidence and ability to be able to use a bike without stabilisers. Throughout this programme they also learn about different part of bikes and about safety when using bikes.

This week we had started learning about Easter & the season Spring. We have had lots of fun making lovely Easter chicks, ladybirds, butterflies & Spring coloured leaves. We will continue and extend this learning over the next few weeks.
