Visit www.scottishopera.org.uk/fever to take part in an interactive online opera for kids!
There are 5 songs in the opera ‘Fever!’ Each Monday, a new set of exciting activities will be posted for each song. These activities include:
- lyrics and teaching guides to learn each song
- videos that teach some moves to go with them
- creative writing and science tasks to try
- tips to make simple props and costumes
Over 5 weeks, you’ll learn the whole opera! Then, you have a special invitation to join a nationwide virtual performance from your own home. Please visit the link above if you’re interested. I know some of you will really enjoy this! You could even learn the songs and try the activities, without joining in the final performance, it’s up to you! You could share your performances to our Teams. The first song was posted this week.
Remember to visit the previous blog post, or Teams, for our Learning Grid and activities for this week.
Tomorrow, 13th May, is National Numeracy Day so keep your eyes open for some fun Numeracy activities to be posted tomorrow!
Have fun!
