Secondary Games Jam

Six of our Dundee Secondary schools brought teams of 4 digital technologists to take part in the first Secondary Games Jam on Tuesday 9th May. The teams were set a challenge by Alan Dobson DCC Business Development Officer to devise, code and promote a game using Scratch on the theme of Smart Cities. Pupils were assisted by a group of mostly student volunteers from Abertay and D&A College. The games were judged by a panel of experts including professionals from YoYo Games, Brightsolid and CodeClub Scotland. First place was awarded to Braeview Academy and second place to Morgan Academy.
