On Tuesday lots of us were joined by one of our grown ups and we all had a school dinner. It was very exciting going to the dinner hall for the first time. We wore our coloured bands to show the dinner ladies what lunch we had chosen. The choices were pasta bolognaise, fish fingers or a baked potato with beans. Everything was delicious.
We enjoyed our school lunch and are looking forward to next week when we will be in school full time and can have lunch at school every day.
We had a visitor from a Judo Club in Dundee. We were invited to a taster judo session which was brilliant fun. We got to wear a judo jacket and try out some games on the special judo mats. We have all taken home a leaflet to share with our families.
We visited Miss Gauld this week to learn all about teeth. Miss Gauld had a HUGE set of teeth to show us and we learnt how to brush our teeth properly. We had a go at brushing the teeth on the crocodile and the dog with a giant toothbrush. We were all very good at it.
Miss Gauld let us look at some of her interesting books all about teeth and she had some lovely stories about teeth too. We all looked at the tooth display and found out some interesting facts about teeth. We liked the big diagram of a tooth.
We enjoyed making paper plate faces with some lovely healthy teeth.
For homework this week lots of us have been busy making beautiful wands. We brought them in to WOW everyone. Some of our wands are going to be put up in the homework hall of fame.
