St Andrews Day celebrations

We celebtated St andrews Day on Friday in nursery.  The boys and girls could dress up in kilts and play in the home corner which was turned into a But n’ Ben. they pretented to make porridge in a big pan.

We had Scottish cheese, oatcakes and shortbread for snack.

The boys and girls listened to some Scottish stories, did a jigsaw of a piper and sang some Scottish songs.

We listened to some Scottish music and skipped, twirled ,clapped and danced to it. the boys and girls very very good dancers!!

To finish off our celebrations we coloured in a flag of Scotland and attached a straw as a flag pole.
