The Sleepy Shepherd and Santa Glow Meet

What a week we have had with lots of rehearsals for The Sleepy Shepherd Christmas Show. We finally got to put on our costumes and go on the stage on Thursday morning for our dress rehearsal. It was really good fun. Then came the time when all our parents and carers watched us. We even painted our faces like sheep too. We were all so nervous, but we all had a great time. We sang our songs really well and all our teachers were so proud of us.

This morning we have just taken part in a Santa Glow Meet with hundreds for children all over Scotland. Santa was on our screens and answered lots of questions we had been talking to our teachers about. Like, How do reindeer fly?, and, What happens if there is no chimney?. Santa was really excited and seems to have lots of energy left!

If you came to see our The Sleepy Shepherd Christmas show please leave a comment for us to read in class. Thank you!

Roll Up, Roll Up – The Sleepy Shepherd is in town

We have been busy practising our parts for the Sleepy Shepherd show. We have  been making advertising posters to put up all around our school.

Have a look at our creative art work and see if we can draw you into our spectacular show. Please contact the school office for tickets. First come, first serve.

Remember-

To be a sheep we must have a long white t-shirt, thick white tights and two pairs of black socks.

Christmas Fayre

This week we have had lots to catch up on with our missed week of school because of the snow. We had to finish all our  products for the Christmas Fayre and lots of Christmas Show practise too.

The Christmas Fayre was yesterday. Lots of mummies, daddies, grannies and grandads came along to drink tea and coffee, eat biscuits and buy lots of goodies. There was a cake and candy stall, toys and books stall, and every class had their own Christmas crafts to sell.

We made lots of money to help the school.

Please remember to bring in your sheep outfit for the show which includes a long white t-shirt, a pair of thick white tights and two pairs of black socks. We need these in by Tuesday!

We have been learning about the Gingerbread Man too. We have a Gingerbread Man Factory which is our playdough table, a Gingerbread Man shop to sell our Gingerbread men and a Gingerbread Man Cafe.
